The Emmet County Director of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) requested that I visit the EMS Station to take some photos of the recently received new ambulance before EMS staff loaded it up with all the necessary equipment and supplies.

After noting several versions of the county seal were being used by various departments on letterhead, email signatures and other official documents, the County Administrator requested I assist the Emmet County Historical Society in coming up with one version to be approved by the Board of Commissioners and to be used by County employees going forward.

Emmet County launched an expansion of bus service, called EMGO, on Jan. 2, 2019, just five weeks after I started my position as Communications Director. Decisions on fonts, colors, and wordage for the EMGO were handled by a marketing company prior to my employment at the County. The County Administrator tasked me with educating the public about the expanded service.
